In 2019, the Ball State Speech Team and I competed in the National Forensics Championship. With the mentorship of my team, I wrote and performed a rhetorical criticism speech about the problem and dangers behind calling the cops on Black individuals. The speech and performance made me a national finalist earning 3rd place.

The speech and performance made me a national finalist earning 3rd place.

Nicolet High School Graduation Speech / 2016

In 2016, I gave one of my high school's commencement speeches. I aimed to reassure my graduating peers that our time and hard work at Nicolet High School has prepared us for anything our future has in store for us. Utilizing props and humor, I was able to keep a large audience engaged and entertained. Giving this speech gave me the encouragement I needed to keep performing and honing my public speaking skills.
